Broadcom BCM957508-P2100G is a dual-port Ethernet network card for servers and other systems with a PCI Express 4.0 x16 interface. Its two ports provide up to 100 Gb/s Ethernet connectivity, suited to high-throughput links in data-centre and cloud computing environments.
Both ports use pluggable QSFP interfaces. The card supports QSFP56, QSFP28 and QSFP+ optical transceivers, as well as copper direct-attach cables, allowing the link medium to be selected for the network setup. Supported signaling includes 50G PAM-4, 25G NRZ and 10G NRZ.
The adapter is built around Broadcom’s BCM57508 Ethernet controller and includes an integrated dual-channel 100GbE SFI transceiver. It also supports RoCE, which provides RDMA networking over Ethernet for systems designed to use that capability.
