M.2 SSD TO 2.5 SATA ADAPTER

The StarTech.com SAT32M225 adapts an M.2 SATA NGFF solid-state drive for use in a 2.5-inch SATA application, such as a system or drive bay designed for a 2.5-inch SATA device.

It supports M.2 SATA B-Key and B+M-Key drives in sizes 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280. This is a SATA adapter; M.2 NVMe and AHCI PCI-Express SSDs are not supported.

The host connection uses 7-pin SATA data and 15-pin SATA power, with transfer rates up to 6 Gbps. Its 7 mm-high, open-frame construction is designed to maximize heat dissipation around the drive.
