2-Port Pci Express Rs232

StarTech.com PEX2S953LP is a PCI Express card that adds two RS-232 serial ports with DB9 connectors to a computer. It provides a way to connect serial equipment such as card readers, printers, PIN pads and modems.

Each port supports data rates up to 921.6 Kbps. The card uses an ASIX AX99100 chipset with 16950 UART and supports Windows and Linux, making it suitable for systems running either operating system.

The low-profile bracket is installed on the card, and a full-profile bracket is also included to suit different computer case formats.
