PLANET IFGS-620TF is an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch for connecting devices across copper and fiber network links. It provides four 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 ports for copper connections and two 1000BASE-X SFP interfaces for fiber-optic transceivers, allowing the same switch to serve local equipment and fiber uplinks.
For networks using a ring layout, the switch supports One Key Ring redundancy. PLANET states that data-link recovery in a simple ring network of eight units can be as fast as 1 ms. PROFINET traffic pass-through with QoS also supports its use in industrial automation networks.
The IP30 metal enclosure can be mounted on a DIN rail or wall, and the specified operating temperature range is -40 to 75 °C. Dual power inputs accept 9–48 V DC or 24 V AC, providing a redundant power arrangement for industrial installations.
