PLANET IGS-1600T is an industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch for connecting wired network devices in demanding environments. It provides 16 RJ45 ports supporting 10/100/1000BASE-T, with automatic MDI/MDI-X, so connected equipment can communicate over standard Ethernet cabling.
The IP30 metal enclosure can be installed on a DIN rail or mounted on a wall, helping integrate the switch into industrial cabinets and other network installations. Its specified operating range is −40 to 75 °C.
The IGS-1600T accepts dual 12–48 V DC power inputs or a 24 V AC input. IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet support reduces port power use when a port has no link. PLANET identifies building automation, IP telephony, IP surveillance and wireless access point networks as intended applications.
