PLANET IFB-244-SLC is an industrial two-channel optical fiber bypass switch designed to keep fiber network traffic moving if power to a local switch is lost. It automatically bypasses that local switch during an outage and resumes normal traffic routing when power returns.
This model is the single-mode LC variant, with four duplex LC optical interfaces. It supports 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths, and the bypass switches in under 8 ms. Listed fiber connection speeds range from 100 Mbps to 100 Gbps.
The IP30-rated metal enclosure supports DIN-rail or wall mounting. Power options are dual 9–48 V DC inputs or 24 V AC, with listed consumption of 0.54 W. The specified operating range is −40 to 75 °C, making the unit suitable for industrial network installations within those conditions.
