5427CK Dual Contactless

HID OMNIKEY 5427CK Gen2 (R54270111) is a contactless smart card reader for capturing credential data and using it with a connected computer or application.

It connects by cable over USB 2.0 and also provides Bluetooth connectivity. The reader supports low- and high-frequency credentials, including iCLASS, MIFARE, Indala Prox and HID Prox, making it suited to environments that use more than one credential technology.

Its keyboard wedge function can enter data from a presented card into an application as keystrokes. Bluetooth also enables use of mobile access credentials with a phone to access a computer, network or cloud service.
