The StarTech.com USBC-PWRTESTER is a bidirectional USB-C meter for checking power flow between a source and a connected device. Insert it into a USB-C setup to measure voltage, current and wattage, and see which way power is moving. It can help pinpoint power delivery issues involving chargers, hubs, docking stations, cables and connected devices.
Its display provides live readings and can be rotated 180 degrees with a button, making the screen easier to view from either orientation. The tester measures 4.5–50 V and 50 mA–6.5 A and supports USB Power Delivery 3.1 EPR up to 240 W. USB data pass-through works up to 10 Gbps and includes DP Alt Mode video; Thunderbolt 3 devices are not supported.
