Usb 2.0 Active Extension 20M

The Lindy 42631 is a 20 m active USB 2.0 extension cable for placing a Type-A peripheral farther from a computer. Its built-in active electronics extend the connection and support data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps, useful when a device needs to be located away from a USB Type-A port.

The cable has a USB Type-A male plug at one end and a USB Type-A female socket at the other. It connects Type-A devices such as storage devices and webcams to computers with USB Type-A ports, and supports Plug and Play for straightforward installation.

For a longer route, up to two extensions can be connected in series for a total distance of up to 40 m. Lindy recommends using the cable with low-power or self-powered USB peripherals rather than devices with high power consumption.
