10m USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A to C

Lindy 43395 is a 10 m active hybrid USB cable for connecting a computer’s USB Type-A port to a USB Type-C device. Its optical USB 3.2 Gen 1 link supports speeds up to 5 Gbit/s, so the device can be positioned up to 10 m from the computer. It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0.

The cable combines optical transmission for USB 3.0 with copper wiring for USB 2.0. A TPE jacket and aramid fibres are part of its construction. It is intended for self-powered devices and USB hubs with an external power supply.

Lindy lists meeting rooms, video conferencing systems and self-powered webcams as possible uses. The cable can be routed through walls, cable trays and conduits, which helps when a long connection needs to follow an installed route.
