SFP TRANSEIVER MODUL 550M

StarTech.com GLCSXMMDST is an SFP fiber transceiver for adding a fiber link to compatible network equipment. It is designed as a replacement compatible with Cisco GLC-SX-MMD and supports 1000BASE-SX links.

The module uses multimode fiber with an LC connector and operates at 850 nm. It supports a link distance of up to 550 m, making it suitable for fiber connections where this reach is needed. Its specified network link rate is 1 Gbps, and digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) reports module status.

The transceiver is hot-swappable in compatible Cisco routers and switches, which allows it to be inserted or replaced without powering down the equipment.
