SFP to CATx converter module

ADDER SFP-CATX-RJ45 is a 1GbE SFP module for connecting CATX cabling through an RJ45 interface. It provides a copper network connection in equipment with a compatible SFP slot.

The module has an 8p8c connector and supports Gigabit Ethernet and 1000BASE-T, as specified by IEEE 802.3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab. Its stated data rate is 1000 Mbps up to 100 metres over unshielded twisted-pair category 5 cable, making it suitable for this type of wired link.

It is designed for CATX cable connections where a 1GbE copper SFP interface is needed.
