Synology SAT5221-1920G is an enterprise SATA solid-state drive for storage systems handling demanding workloads, including online transaction processing databases and virtualization deployments. Its 1.92 TB capacity provides solid-state storage for these applications.

The drive uses a 2.5-inch, 7 mm form factor and a SATA 6 Gb/s interface. Synology specifies sustained sequential read and write speeds of 500 MB/s under its stated test conditions. The combination provides a compact drive format with sequential throughput suited to storage tasks that benefit from SSD access.

Synology rates this model for more than 3,500 TBW, using an enterprise workload benchmark. When used with Synology DiskStation Manager, SAT5200 series drives also support lifetime workload analytics and one-click firmware updates.
