Ion Ds1825+ Nas/Storage

Synology DiskStation DS1825+ is a desktop NAS for bringing shared files, backups and other data together in one place. It can support team file access and synchronization, device backups, and video surveillance through Synology’s software platform.

The enclosure has eight drive bays for 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs, along with two M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots. This gives the system several ways to configure storage, including SSD caching with supported drives.

For network access, the DS1825+ has two 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports and can use an optional network expansion card for speeds up to 25GbE. Capacity can also be expanded to as many as 18 drive bays with two DX525 expansion units. Drives and expansion units are sold separately.
