Disk Station NAS server

Synology DiskStation DS725+ is a two-bay NAS for central file sharing, synchronization, backup and surveillance, managed through Synology DiskStation Manager. It brings common data management tasks together in one network storage system.

The two drive bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. Two M.2 2280 NVMe slots support SSD caching, so cache drives do not occupy the main drive bays.

For wired connections, the DS725+ has one 2.5GbE and one 1GbE RJ-45 port. Synology lists sequential read and write throughput of up to 276/224 MB/s. Storage can be expanded to seven drives in total with one DX525 expansion unit, sold separately.

In the box: main unit, accessory pack, AC power adapter, AC power cord and two RJ-45 LAN cables.
