RUGGED USB-C 2,5" 5TB

LaCie Rugged USB-C 5TB (STFR5000800) is a portable hard drive for carrying files and keeping a large library of digital work in one place. Its 5TB capacity provides room for substantial collections of photos, video and other files.

The drive connects over USB-C. Seagate lists compatibility with computers that have a USB-C, USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port. The maker describes it for workflows such as transporting footage from a shoot to post-production or storing a Lightroom library.

Its rugged construction is specified to withstand drops from 1.2 m while not operating, crushing in a stated test involving an approximately one-ton car, and rain. These details make it suited to carrying files between locations and working in varied environments.
