Synology RackStation RS2423+ is a rackmount network storage system for centralizing business files, backups and surveillance data. Its 12 drive bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA solid-state drives, allowing storage to be configured around the needs of the organization.
An AMD Ryzen V1780B 4-core processor and 8 GB of DDR4 ECC UDIMM memory form the system’s computing platform. Memory can be expanded in its two slots, up to 32 GB. For growing storage requirements, an RX1223RP expansion unit can extend the system to 24 drives.
The 2U chassis is designed for a four-post 19-inch rack and measures 88 × 482 × 552 mm. Networking includes two 1GbE and one 10GbE LAN port, alongside two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a Mini-SAS HD expansion port.
Package contents: main unit, accessory pack, one AC power cord and quick installation guide.
