The StarTech.com DP2DVI2 connects a DVI monitor or projector to a computer with DisplayPort, so an existing display can be used with a compatible video source. It is a passive adapter and requires a DP++ port on the source device.
It supports single-link digital DVI resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 or 1080p at 60 Hz. The DVI-I socket carries a digital DVI-D signal only, and DVI audio is not supported. The adapter has a DisplayPort plug, a 29-pin DVI-I socket and a short attached cable of about 15 cm. It is designed for one display.
