The Philips 49B2U5900C/00 is a curved business monitor with a 48.8-inch SuperWide screen, a 32:9 aspect ratio and 5120 × 1440 resolution at 75 Hz. Its panoramic workspace suits office applications, browsing, photo work, films, gaming and demanding graphics applications.
The VA LCD panel uses W-LED backlighting and provides 3000:1 contrast, 450 cd/m² SDR brightness and 500 cd/m² HDR brightness. Its 1800R curve and 178° viewing angles accompany DisplayHDR 400, Adaptive Sync, SoftBlue and an anti-glare coating. DICOM D-mode is intended to make subtle greyscale detail easier to distinguish in technical illustrations, scans and other detailed images.
Connections include two HDMI 2.1 TMDS inputs, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C with DP Alt Mode, data and Power Delivery, and RJ45 Ethernet. The integrated USB hub, KVM and MultiView PIP/PBP support work with multiple connected devices; USB-C delivers up to 100 W. Stereo speakers, an adjustable stand and VESA mounting are also provided.
