ACR40T Type-C USB SIM-Sized

ACS ACR40T-A5 is a portable contact smart-card reader for SIM-sized 2FF cards. Its USB Type-C connector links the reader to a computer or compatible device for reading and writing supported cards.

The reader supports ISO 7816 Class A, B and C cards, T=0/T=1 processor cards and memory cards. Its contact-card read/write speed is 9.6–600 kbps. The USB 2.0 Full Speed interface transfers data at 12 Mbps and is compatible with USB 3.0.

PC/SC and CCID support, along with compatibility with Windows, Linux, Mac OS and Android, makes it suitable for smart-card tasks across these systems. Measuring 44.7 × 17.7 × 8.0 mm and weighing 5.3 g (±5%), the ACR40T-A5 has a compact form for portable use.
