ACR122 NFC USB

The ACS ACR122U-A9ACSA is a USB contactless reader/writer for NFC smart cards, designed to connect to a computer. It provides a way to read and write supported contactless cards and tags in PC-linked applications.

Operating at 13.56 MHz, it supports ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, MIFARE, FeliCa and all four NFC tag types defined by ISO/IEC 18092. Contactless access rates reach up to 424 kbit/s, while USB communication is up to 12 Mbit/s.

ACS lists applications such as access control, electronic payment and e-ticketing. The reader can therefore serve as a contact point between a computer-based system and supported contactless credentials or tags.
