5022 - SMART card reader

HID OMNIKEY 5022 (R50220318-GR) is a contactless smart card reader for workstation and application authentication. It connects by USB 2.0 and uses the operating system’s native CCID driver, so no separate driver installation is required.

The reader works with contactless cards and devices using ISO 14443 A/B, ISO 15693, iCLASS, MIFARE and NFC. Support for NFC FIDO/FIDO2 devices enables authentication workflows, while existing physical access cards can also be used for computer login, network access and cloud access.

The light gray housing is made of polycarbonate and measures 58.93 × 58.93 × 11.18 mm. The package includes the reader and a mounting accessories kit.
