The Lindy 40923 is an active 3 m cable for connecting a device with a Mini DisplayPort output to an HDMI display or projector. Male Mini DisplayPort and HDMI Type A connectors link the source and screen directly.

It uses Mini DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 and supports resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz, as well as HDR. The integrated chipset supports use with dual-mode and non-dual-mode graphics cards and source devices, helping connect different types of Mini DisplayPort sources.

The cable can carry uncompressed multichannel audio over HDMI when the source computer’s graphics card supports audio output over DisplayPort. Its black PVC jacket and ABS connector housings describe the cable’s outer materials.
