15M Usb2.0 Active Extension

The Lindy 42762 is a 15 m active USB 2.0 extension cable for extending the connection between a computer and a USB device. Its built-in active electronics carry the connection along the cable, making it useful when the device needs to be positioned farther from the computer.

The cable has a USB Type-A male connector at one end and a USB Type-B male connector at the other. The slimline design houses the electronics in a small mould on the cable, and no special software installation is required. It works with PCs and Macs equipped with USB 2.0 or USB 1.1. The manufacturer recommends using it with self-powered devices, as it is not ideal for bus-powered equipment.
