5427 CK Gen2 Bluetooth

The OMNIKEY 5427 CK Gen2 Bluetooth (R54270211) is a contactless reader for smart-card credentials used with PC-based access and authentication systems. Its Bluetooth interface also supports mobile access credentials, allowing a phone to be used for access to a computer, network or cloud service.

The reader supports both 13.56 MHz high-frequency and 125 kHz low-frequency credentials, which is useful in environments that use more than one credential technology. It connects by USB 2.0 and can operate through native CCID support or keyboard emulation, which sends retrieved card data into an application as keystrokes.

A removable card retainer is included as part of the reader’s design.
