ARCTIC MX-6 ACTCP00084A is a thermal paste kit for placing between a processor or another heat-producing component and its cooler. The 4 g syringe contains grey compound that fills the contact interface.

Its high viscosity means the paste spreads under the cooler’s contact pressure, so there is no need to spread it with a spatula. ARCTIC describes it as neither electrically conductive nor capacitive, and says it contains no liquid metal components. MX-6 is also listed for direct-die cooling, including graphics cards and console processor GPUs.

The included MX Cleaner wipes are intended to remove thermal compound from contact surfaces. Their cleaning agent contains limonene obtained from citrus essential oil.
