Kingda RX-1000 is a cable tester for checking computer and telephone networks, coaxial lines and USB cables. It supports RJ-45, RJ-11, USB and BNC systems, including BNC testing on 10BASE-2 lines.

It checks shielded STP and unshielded UTP LAN cables, with an S indicator for shielding. For USB, it tests cables with a Type A connector at one end and Type B at the other. Indicator lights show conductor and contact connections, help check for short circuits, and distinguish straight-through from crossover wiring.

The main and remote units can be connected to test a cable between two points. The listed maximum test cable length is 90 m, useful when checking longer runs. The RX-1000 can help locate connection issues during installation or troubleshooting across network, telephone, coaxial and USB cabling.
