The Epson EB-W49 projector (MPN V11H983040) is designed for presentations and video. Its 3LCD technology uses RGB liquid-crystal panels to produce a WXGA image in a 16:10 aspect ratio, suitable for widescreen material.

White and colour light output is 3,800 lumens, with a 16,000:1 contrast ratio. The UHE lamp is rated for 8,000 hours, or up to 17,000 hours in economy mode. Manual 1–1.2 optical zoom and a projection size of 33 to 320 inches give options for positioning the image to suit the space.

Two HDMI inputs, two VGA inputs, Ethernet and USB support wired connections; wireless networking is optional. A built-in 5 W speaker handles audio, and the projector can sit on a desk or be ceiling-mounted.
