3TB 128MB 7200RPM SAS 6Gb/s

Seagate Constellation ES.3 ST3000NM0023 is a 3TB enterprise hard drive for expanding storage in compatible SAS systems. Its 6Gb/s SAS interface and dual interface ports suit deployments built around enterprise storage equipment.

A 128MB multisegmented cache and 7200 RPM spindle speed are key parts of the drive’s performance specification. The SAS model supports sector sizes of 512, 520, and 528 bytes, providing options for systems that use different sector formats.

Seagate lists high-capacity RAID storage, enterprise SAN, NAS and DAS arrays, cloud bulk-data storage, backup and restore, and centralized surveillance among the family’s applications. These uses make the drive relevant for consolidating data in enterprise storage environments.
