Kingston XS1000 1TB external SSD (SXS1000/1000G) provides portable storage for files and backups. Its 1TB capacity gives you room to keep documents, media and other data together on an external drive.
The drive connects through USB 3.2 Gen 2 and reaches sequential speeds of up to 1,050MB/s read and 1,000MB/s write. Actual speed depends on the host hardware, software and use, and Kingston specifies a USB 3.2 Gen 2 host for optimal speeds.
At 69.54 × 32.58 × 13.5mm and 28.7g, the XS1000 is compact and light to carry. Its casing combines metal and plastic. Kingston lists support for Windows 11 and 10, macOS 10.15.x or later, Linux 4.4.x or later, Chrome OS, Android, and iOS/iPadOS 13 or later; compatibility depends on the host, and mobile devices may need an additional OTG cable.
