The Satechi USB4 Multiport Adapter with 8K HDMI (ST-U4MA3M) expands a USB4 or USB-C connection into ports for displays, peripherals, memory cards, wired networking and audio. Its built-in USB-C cable connects the adapter to the host device, helping bring several connection types together in one compact hub.
For an external display, the HDMI output supports up to 8K at 30 Hz; on Mac, the manual specifies up to 4K at 60 Hz. Two USB-A 3.2 ports handle data at up to 10 Gbps each, while a USB-A 2.0 port supports up to 480 Mbps. SD and Micro SD card slots provide direct access to supported memory cards.
