Usb Cat. 5 Extender Up To 50M

Lindy 42805 USB 1.1 Cat.5 Extender extends the connection between a computer and a USB device over a longer distance, using network cable between its local transmitter and remote receiver.

It carries a single USB port up to 50 m over Cat.5, Cat.5e, Cat.6 or higher cable. The network cable is not included. With support for transfer rates up to 12 Mbps, it is intended for USB 1.1 connections. The extender draws power from the USB bus.

Connect the transmitter to the host computer and the receiver to a peripheral such as a webcam or storage device. With a USB hub, multiple devices can be extended over distances up to 40 m. An optional power supply can be connected when using high-current USB devices.
