StarTech.com 115B-USBC-MULTIPORT is a USB-C multiport adapter for adding display, data, memory-card and wired-network connections to a compatible laptop or tablet. It connects through one USB-C host cable, helping bring several useful ports together for a desk or mobile setup.
The HDMI output supports up to 4K at 60 Hz with a host that supports DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode. Three USB-A ports provide data transfer up to 5 Gbps, while SD and microSD readers give access to supported memory cards. Gigabit Ethernet provides a wired network connection.
A shared USB-C port supports Power Delivery 3.0 pass-through up to 100 W and USB 2.0 data up to 480 Mbps. Full functionality requires a USB-C host port with DisplayPort Alt Mode; the manufacturer also lists USB4 and Thunderbolt 3/4 hosts.
