USB 3.0 TO GB ETHERNET ADAPTER

The StarTech.com USB31000S USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter adds a wired network connection to a computer through USB. Its single RJ45 port connects to Ethernet networks, making it useful when you need a wired connection or an Ethernet port on a USB-equipped computer.

It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps networks and connects over USB 3.0, rated at 5 Gbps. The adapter is also compatible with USB 2.0, though network speed is limited by the USB bus. USB power means it draws power from the computer.

Features include Wake on LAN, VLAN tagging and Jumbo Frames up to 4K. The manufacturer notes that Jumbo Frames are no longer supported in macOS.
