Both ends use B-size 1-inch rubber balls, allowing the arm to be adjusted to set the device position. The round bases are 2.5 inches in diameter and have a universal AMPS hole pattern. Their 4-hole AMPS and 3-hole 120-degree layouts provide mounting options for compatible components.
The arm is made from high-strength composite, while the round plates use marine-grade aluminum. The socket-to-socket arm length is 3 inches, and the listed standard-use weight capacity is 2 lb. The manufacturer says the base pattern connects to many RAM cradles, including all iPad cradles.
