The Yealink MP45 is a USB desktop phone for computer-based calling, with a user interface tailored to Microsoft Teams. The manufacturer also lists compatibility with Skype for Business. Connect it to a PC to use its handset, keypad and on-screen controls for calls.
Its 4-inch capacitive touch screen has a 480 × 800 resolution. Physical keys provide familiar call controls, including mute, hold and speakerphone, while a dedicated Teams button gives quick access to Teams functions.
For calls, the MP45 combines HD audio with noise suppression. Its full-duplex hands-free speakerphone includes acoustic echo cancellation, allowing hands-free conversation without lifting the handset. RJ9 ports are provided for the handset and a wired headset, and the phone supports a Busylight. Yealink positions the MP45 for daily office use, hot-desking and classroom settings.
