Storage Drive Enclosure Ssd

The ICY DOCK ToughArmor MB601M2K-1B is a removable rack for installing one M.2 NVMe SSD in an external 3.5-inch drive bay. Its tray lets you access or swap the drive through the enclosure rather than handling the SSD directly each time.

The rack connects to the host through a U.2 SFF-8639 interface and supports PCIe 4.0 NVMe transfer rates up to 64 Gbps. The adjustable holder fits M.2 drive lengths 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110, so it can accommodate several standard SSD formats.

A full-metal chassis and removable tray form the enclosure, while the tray’s aluminium heatsink and thermal pads help dissipate heat. A key lock secures the tray, and an LED shows when an installed drive is powered and in use.
