Storage Drive Docking Station

The ICY DOCK ToughArmor MB992SK-B is a removable mobile rack for mounting two 2.5-inch drives in an external 3.5-inch drive bay. It supports SATA or SAS HDDs and SSDs, making it useful when a system needs accessible drive storage in a single bay.

The rack accepts drives up to 9.5 mm high and uses removable trays for drive changes and maintenance. Its full-metal construction is paired with a two-segment key lock to help secure the drives within the enclosure. SAS drives require a SAS host.

The listed interface rates are up to 6 Gbps for SATA and 12 Gbps for SAS 3.0, using a single channel for SAS. The unit connects to the host through two SATA 7-pin connectors and receives power through one 15-pin SATA connector.

Package contents: one device, one user manual, eight screws and two keys.
