SurgeX SQUID SX-DC-8-1224-230 is an AC/DC power management unit that brings power protection, network control and electrical monitoring together in one chassis. It is designed for AV installations where several devices need coordinated power management.

The unit accepts 120–240V AC input through IEC connectors and provides four AC receptacles that can be controlled and monitored. Three DC banks are available, with two controllable; the listed DC rating is 24V, 2.5A.

For oversight, the SQUID measures voltage, current, power, frequency, power factor and crest factor, and records time-stamped power quality events. Wired Ethernet provides access to its web server, while stored maximum, minimum and average readings help review electrical conditions over time. SurgeX positions this system for collaborative flexible spaces, huddle rooms and compact AV setups.
