HP M35816-061 top cover with keyboard is a replacement assembly for the EliteBook 850 G8. It combines the notebook’s upper cover and keyboard in one service part, for replacing that assembled section of the computer.

This variant is backlit, so the keys can be illuminated. The -061 country code identifies the Italian keyboard layout. HP lists this part number in its service guide as a backlit top cover and keyboard assembly for the EliteBook 850 G8 parts range.

M35816-061 is distinct from HP’s non-backlit M35818 series and its M35817 privacy-model series. The part is supplied as a cover-and-keyboard assembly, rather than a standalone keyboard.
