SPS-TOP COVER W/KB BL PVCY UK

HP N97242-031 top cover with backlit keyboard is a replacement assembly for compatible HP computer models equipped with a privacy filter. The UK suffix identifies the keyboard variant for use in the United Kingdom.

The assembly combines the top cover and keyboard, with backlighting for typing in dimmer surroundings. HP specifies that it includes both the backlight cable and keyboard cable, so these parts are part of the listed assembly.

This is the privacy-filter version in the N97242 series; HP lists separate part numbers for the regular backlit and non-backlit versions. The part is intended for computer models designed for this assembly.
