SPS-FAN DSC

HP L45101-001 fan is a replacement cooling component for the HP ProBook 450 G7 with discrete graphics. It supports ventilation by moving air through the notebook’s cooling system.

The service guide describes the fan as temperature controlled: it is designed to start automatically when conditions become hot. This helps direct heat out through the ventilation grille during use. Its cable connects to the system board, and the fan sits beneath the heat sink.

This part number is specific to discrete-graphics configurations. HP lists L45100-001 separately for models with UMA graphics, so the two fan references are not interchangeable based on the guide.
