HPE P10456-B21 is a 1.92TB solid-state drive for server storage. Part of HPE’s Value SAS range, it is specified for mixed-use workloads combining read and write activity, making it an option for server environments with both types of operations.
The drive uses a SAS 12G interface and a 3.5-inch large form factor (LFF). Hot-plug design supports installation or replacement without powering down the server, while the SCC carrier configuration is suited to supported setups. The single-port design, TLC flash and digitally signed firmware are also specified.
HPE lists the model for selected Gen9 and Gen10 server platforms. Check that the server configuration supports this 1.92TB mixed-use SAS drive with an LFF SCC carrier before choosing it for added or replacement storage.
