MicroConnect MC-SMART USB C-L-1 is a 1 m Smart Charge MFi C94 cable for charging smartphones and tablets with a Lightning connection from a USB-C port. It has straight male USB-C and Lightning connectors, one at each end.
A fabric braided jacket surrounds the copper conductor, and the connector contacts are nickel-plated. The listed colours are black and green. Alongside charging, it supports USB 2.0 data transfer at up to 480 Mbit/s.
The plug’s light shows charging status: it blinks orange during fast charging, blinks green at normal speed and stays green when charging is complete. 30 minutes after a full charge, the indicator turns off and the cable cuts power. This status indication and automatic cut-off help show when charging is underway and when power has stopped.
