Shielded RJ45 Coupler, Inline

StarTech.com IN-CAT6A-COUPLER-S1 is a shielded inline RJ45 coupler for joining two Ethernet cables when a network run needs to be extended. Its female-to-female layout connects compatible cable ends directly, while the straight-through TIA/EIA-T568B pinout keeps the wiring arrangement clear.

Designed for Cat6a and Cat6 cables, the coupler supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps and facilitates PoE connections. A metal outer shell surrounds an ABS inner housing, and the female contacts use gold-plated phosphor bronze. It provides a compact connection point for extending a shielded Ethernet link in a network setup.
