Belden 5506FE 008U500 is gray Security & Sound cable for wiring applications such as security systems, intercom and public-address equipment, audio and speakers, and power-limited controls. Belden also lists use in noisy environments.

Its 8 stranded bare-copper conductors are 22 AWG and insulated with polypropylene. A bi-laminate aluminum-polyester shield provides full coverage, while the PVC outer jacket includes a ripcord for cable access. The nominal outside diameter is 0.187 in (4.75 mm).

The cable is rated for 300 V and designated for indoor riser use, with a CMR rating.
