Belden 6509UE 877U1000 is a 12-conductor Security & Sound cable for wiring security systems, intercom and PA installations, audio or speaker setups, and power-limited controls.

Its 22 AWG stranded bare copper conductors use 7x30 stranding. Each conductor has PVC insulation, and the outer PVC jacket includes a ripcord to assist with opening the cable during preparation.

The CMP plenum classification identifies the cable type for plenum applications. The conductors are color-coded in black, red, white, green, brown, blue, orange, yellow, purple, gray, pink, and tan, helping distinguish the individual runs when connecting equipment.
