The Targus SafePort Rugged Max Case (THD966GL) protects selected iPad Air and iPad Pro tablets while keeping the controls, ports, and camera accessible.
Corner impact protection, a bezel-free screen protector, and covered buttons form part of the case design. Targus reports it passed drop testing from 6 ft./1.8 m under MIL-STD 810G, Method 516.6, Procedure IV. The clear protective TPU back keeps the iPad’s color visible.
Use the built-in kickstand for hands-free viewing at multiple angles in landscape orientation. An adjustable silicone hand strap helps you hold the tablet, and the integrated holder stores an Apple Pencil or stylus. Compatibility covers iPad Air 11-inch (M4, M3, M2), iPad Air 10.9-inch (5th and 4th generation), and iPad Pro 11-inch (4th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st generation). The Apple Pencil is sold separately.
