AXIS S3016 16 TB (02351-002) is a rack-mounted recorder for storing video from surveillance systems. This EU variant supports up to 16 video channels and combines recording storage with an integrated 16-port PoE switch, so it can connect and power network devices as part of an installation.
Its 1U rack form factor suits rack-based equipment setups. The 16 TB configuration includes four hard drives and has four occupied drive bays. RAID 5 is set by default, with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 supported for different storage arrangements.
The recorder can expand an AXIS Camera Station Pro installation or be used with AXIS Camera Station Edge. In an AXIS Camera Station Pro setup, it requires a Windows-based recording server and does not operate as a standalone unit. Its total PoE output budget is 305 W.
