RJ-45 Port Blockers (Without

Lindy 47892 is a set of 20 black RJ-45 port blockers that restrict physical access to unused network ports. The pack contains the blockers only; an insertion key is not included.

Each blocker has a moulded plastic cap that fits into an RJ-45 socket and latches in place. A special key installs and removes it, and the key must match the blocker colour. For this black set, use the corresponding black key.

The blockers help prevent cables, devices or foreign objects from being inserted into an exposed port. They can also identify inactive or disconnected ports on computers, wall outlets and patch panels. Lindy describes them as a basic physical and visual deterrent, not as a way to stop a determined attempt to access a port.
